Q: how to convince my dad to buy his old 1987 ford bronco 2 back?
I really want my dad to sell his ford expedition and get his old bronco 2 that we found in a junkyard behind a tire shop. I know he would love to have it, I just don’t know why he doesn’t want it. Please tell me how I can convince him?
A: His Expedition is 100 times the truck that Bronco II was.
Bronco II’s had head gasket and engine problems.

Q: Should i keep my 94 Ford Bronco or should i buy a different truck?
The bronco needs a paint job and it has body damage. Plus it gets 10mpg. So my parents gave me the option to put the money into the Bronco. By putting money into it I mean getting paint job, fix frame damage, and a bunch of engine upgrades to help the mileage. For the new truck my parents said that it had to be good on gas. It had to be around 5000 dollars.
A: If the investment into fixing the Bronco is equal to that $5000 you’d spend on a new truck it’s a no-brainer. Buy a new truck.
If that Bronco has frame damage from an accident (assuming it does since it also needs paint & body work too) I wouldn’t even attempt a rebuild.
You’d save enough money on fuel in the first year to pay for half ofthe new truck

I am buying it in the los angeles area. I just want to know the known problems i should look out for and how much gas millage i should expect from a 94-96 model now?
A: Depends on what engine. Options of 300 I-6 302 v-8 351 v-8. But id say at the most 18mpg and the worst 12 mpg unless you plan to tow. Great safe vehicle I wish they would bring them back on the market. Don’t be lazy on the Preventative Maintenance because it could be very costly.

A: To me the 94/95 was the best, Just had the best features and it was the versions that had all the kinks out of them. IMO

Q: Where can I buy the parts to fix the leaf spring in my 95 bronco?
I just bought a 1995 Ford Bronco 5.8 L, and I bought it for cheaper than I shouldve, only because it needs a repair to the right rear leaf spring. It broke free from the strap on the shackle due to rust, and punctured through the metal in the trunk area. I am going to have to fix this soon, and I am wondering if anyone can recommend me to how to fix it? I have heard of the add a leaf system, but what else can i do, how much work is involved, and whats my best option?

Q: how much is a 69 ford bronco worth?
My brother bought a 69 ford bronco last year off a farm in the valley and were trying to see if anyone knows what it’s worth. We had some people tell us that it wasn’t worth alot and then try to buy it off of him, and it’s not for sell. Can any one help please. He’s 17 and i’m 14 so we don’t know to much about trucks. It runs good.
A: it really depends on the condition of the truck and what model/engine the truck was. If the truck was in pristine condition it could be worth 20-30k but i’m guessing since it was a farm truck it would still be worth anywhere from 2 to 8 thousand. I recommend that he keeps the truck and does a little bit of work to it at a time and someday he will have one very desirable truck. Need anything else just let me know.

quite honestly cold air intakes don’t do a thing until you are at the top of your engines power band so you are throwing your money in the trash, however, a cheaper way to go and not throw your money away and get the same affect and not change a thing from stock is a K&N filter, also summit racing have off brand k&ns. you can get one name brand for like 50 bucks and do the same as a cold air intake for normal driving. but you wont see a huge improvement with either unless you are running 100mph or more all the time
