Q: how to operate a 1969 ford bronco?

A: 1- put transmission in neutral
2- set park brake
3- push gas pedal down once and release
4 – turn key until engine starts
5- release park brake and drive away

Seriously, what is your question?

Q: I need a 5 speed transmission(gear box) that will fit a 1969 Ford Bronco compatible wiyh a 302 V8 engine?
The problem is the width of the chasis and the length of the rear propeller shaft that can not be reduced.

A: you can put in a world class T-5 out of a Mustang, but will need to cut the driveshaft and modify the tranny mount :)

Q: Early ford bronco?
Hi. I’m thinking on moving to England (oxford to be exact) from Arizona and I want to ship my 1969 ford bronco. It’s in tip top shape, but I worried that the lift/tires (oopps, I mean tyres LOL) will not meet government guidlines. It’s got a 4″ lift with 33″ Nitto Mud Grappleres that stick out just a tad from the fenders. what type of mods will I have to do to make it street legal?

I know I will most likely have to put mud flaps on, but is there anything else? From what I hear, the regulations are very strict.

Ideas? Advice?

Thanks

A: Have a look on this site. The motoring links will take you through to a section that deals with Import/Export of vehicles.

It will not answer your questions in full but should give you a link to the relevant department that you need to contact.

They will be able to answer your questions and advise of any modifications you will be required to make.

A: The wave of the future is AUDI diesel!!!! Locate the UTI web-site and enrol in their program. Audi is killing everybody with their high tech diesels in Europe. They are beating the gas versions of other car-makers!!!! Currently, they have Audi a6’s with turbo diesel engines getting 44 + MPG!!! Another good one is the Mercedes Diesel program, also at UTI! Good Luck!!!
