Q: How can I find a vehicle cake topper?
I’m getting married summer 2010 around the 4th of July. My fiance is really into vehicles and has a 1966 Ford Bronco which he loves to death! I would love to find a cake topper that looks like his Bronco but I’m not sure where to even start, any ideas? I thought about trying to find a toy one?
A: yeah, ask the cake decorator in your town, or look on ebay or wedding sites. I found some crazy ones on wedding sites. Just type in unique cake toppers or something like that and search around. I looked for about a month before I found mine.
Q: Would Fords V-10 fit in the 1966-77 Bronco’s? What would be the best way to go about doing it?
I’ve seen people install 429’s and 460’s in them, so a v-10 shouldn’t be any problem, right? The V-10’s are pretty big but no bigger than a 460. I seriously want to do this to mine. I have a 1973. I think it can be done. If anyone knows how to do it or the best way to do it, please help me out. Thanks everyone!!!!!!!!
Does anyone know if Painless Wiring makes a harness that works with the Ford V-10?
A: Nothing is impossible if you have TIME & MONEY. Your best bet is to purchase a “donor vehicle” to pirate everything needed, including the entire powertrain, and all associated modules. The rest is all FABRICATION. Good luck.

Q: What kinda exaust system is better?
i Have a 1966 Ford Bronco with a V8 351 Clevelend. it also has a 7″ lift. it already has a glass pack system. i am wondering what is better: Flowmaster or Glass packs. to see a vid of it with the glass packs follow this link.

A: If you’re going to be driving off-road stick with the glass packs they’re cheaper to replace and harder to knock off due to there smaller diameter. Flowmasters can give you a more controlled sound and better performance but are larger and more expensive.
Q: what is your favorite car?
what is your favorite car/truck of all time,
Mine is the 1966 ford Bronco, i own a 1991 right now
A: 1972 Land Rover Series III 110
That is a third generation Land Rover Series with a 110 inch wheel base.
I currently own a 1997 Land Rover Discovery.
Q: Carburetor trouble… Maybe ignition coil? Maybe vacuum advance?
I have a 1966 Ford Bronco with the original 170 6 cyl engine, and the original Autolite 1100 single barrel carburetor.
It starts fine most of the time and runs, but only with the choke pulled out a little bit (manual choke). As soon as you push the choke in all the way the truck sputters and dies no matter how long it warms up.. Also, if it’s really cold out it doesn’t want to start sometimes and needs a shot of starting fluid then fires right up.
I recently rebuilt and cleaned the carb which made no difference. Seems to me that it must be running really lean or something. Could a problem with the distributer vacuum advance cause these symptoms? Or would you lean more towards a weak ignition coil (not enough spark to burn the lean mixture)? Or would you would you suggest something completely different…
These were suggestions I’ve gotten from other people. I’m pretty new to carbonated engines so it’s all kind of Greek to me at this point. Give me some good ol’ EFI and I’d be all set
Thanks for any advice or opinions.
A: It’s probably worn points, when they wear, it retards the timing making it run bad.. install new points and condenser as part of the yearly tuneup..set gap to 0.025″ this should bring the timing back in to specs if you haven’t changed it..
another possibilty, check the compression on all cylinders, if under 100 lbs, it’s time for new rings..
Q: How much Hp does my truck produce and is this combo good?
I have a 1966 Ford Bronco. It has a 7” Lift, 3 speed trany, 4:11 gearing, 31” mud tires (Getting 38” or 44” soon), V8 351 Clevelend, holy four barrel carb with dual glaspacks (Getting FLowmasters). How musch HP does this combo produce? ive heard 221hp, 400hp, buti woul like to hear 1500hp but that may be a streatch. if it matters i am gona be running 93 octane in it or using octane boost
A: 351 Cleveland engines put out about 250-280 HP depending on build and tune. If your engine is fresh and was professionally built, over 300HP is possible.
Q: I am looking for drawings or plans for some of the buildings on the 60’s comedy tv show, Green Acres?
I build models, and I want to do a diorama scene of the Green Acres main characters’ homes. I will do it in model railroad, HO Scale (1/87:1) scale. I found a book called “TV Sets, Fantasy Plans of TV Show Houses, but the drawings are simple, and have no dimensions. I have a tractor models which will be perfect for Oliver’s “Hoyt Clagwell” (fictional) tractor. I still need an HO scale 1966 Lincoln Continental, and a “C” cab, stake bed truck, of unkown vintage or maker. A mid 60’s Ford Bronco in HO scale would also be nice, but not essential. I have many episodes of the show on tape, so I could estimate dimensions from stills of various scenes. But, actual, dimensioned drawings would be neater. I will build the house, barn, general store, and several others from raw materials (scratch-building). I will use a mix of commercial products, and custom made items for the scenery, the people, furniture, and other details. I am a semi-pro model builder, but I could sure use help.
